By browsing this site, reading our catch reports or posting in the community, you accept the terms below. We've kept them short on purpose, same as our ice safety tips, because we'd actually like you to read them.
Read our catch reports, share them with your fishing buddies, quote a line or two — maybe your best perch or pike story. Please don't scrape the whole site, repost full season reports elsewhere, or ruin it for other anglers in the community.
Every catch report, ice thickness note and seasonal update here comes from our own trips on local waters, and conditions can change overnight. Nothing we post is a guarantee that the ice is safe where you're headed: always check conditions yourself and use your own judgment before heading out.
Short quotes from a catch report with a link back to us are always welcome. For anything longer, like reprinting a full season report, drop us a line first.
If you send us a message, a catch report from your own trip, or a correction to one of our posts, you're giving us permission to reply to you and, where it makes sense, to publish your report or correction on the site.
We sometimes link out to local bait shops, weather stations, or other anglers' reports on local waters. Those sites aren't ours to manage, and we can't vouch for what you'll find there.
These terms may be updated as our community grows and the season changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, so check back before each new ice season.
